    Mass Save® offers insulation rebates and incentives for homeowners, renters, landlords, and businesses in Massachusetts.

    Here are some key points about Mass Save insulation rebates:

    • 75%-100% Off Insulation: Qualified applicants may be eligible for a 75%-100% rebate on home insulation upgrades through the Mass Save Insulation Rebates Program.
    • Free Air Sealing: Pay nothing to seal the gaps in your home where energy leaks out of. By reducing the loss of energy you reduce the costs of energy bills.
    • Business Rebates: Mass Save offers incentives for business owners to upgrade the insulation in their attics and walls. The program includes custom building insulation and weatherization incentives.
    • $1,200 In Federal Tax Credits: Homeowners may receive up to $1,2,00 in federal tax credits as part of the Inflation Reduction Act.

    Mass Save Heating & Cooling Rebates

    Mass Save offers rebates for the installation of ductless mini-split heat pumps to homeowners, renters, landlords, and businesses in Massachusetts

    Here are some key points about Mass Save heat pump rebates:

    • $16,000 Mini-Split Heat Pumps: These air source heat pumps efficiently provide heating and cooling to your home by pumping energy between the inside of your home and the air outside. Home owners may be eligible for a rebate of up to $10,000 for the installation of a mini-split heat pump system. Some low-income households could be eligible for rebates up to $16,000.

    • $25,000 Ground Source Heat Pumps: These highly efficient systems provide heating and cooling by pumping between the inside of your home and the ground around it. Home owners installing can offset the costs with rebates up to $25,000. 

    • 0% Financing HEAT Loan: Homeowners may be eligible for interest-free financing up to $50,000 to pay for heating & cooling upgrades to your home. 

    • $2,000 Federal Tax Credit: Homeowners may receive up to $2,000 in federal tax credits as part of installing a new heat pump.

    • $750 Heat Pump Water Heaters: You can upgrade to an energy efficient water heater and cut the cost with rebates up to $750 per unit.

    Mass Save Appliance Rebates

    Mass Save® offers additional rebates and incentives for many other home improvements that save energy by making your home energy efficient:

    • $50 Clothes Dryer Rebate: You may be eligible to receive $50 back when you upgrade your clothes dryer to an energy efficient an ENERGY STAR® certified electric clothes dryer. These models use up to 20% less energy, which means lower energy bills.  
    • $150 Clothes Washer Rebate: When you replace your old, inefficeint clothes washer with a new ENERGY STAR® certified model, you could get $150 back in rebates. Plus, you'll save even more given that these energy efficient models use 25% less energy and 33% less water.
    • $500 Induction Stove Rebate: Get $500 back in rebates by upgrading your natural gas or propane stove to an induction stove. You'll save even more with lower energy bills as induction stoves use less energy to perform the same cooking.
